Varieties grown on the farm include Java, Typica, Laurina, Rume Sudan, Tabi, and Geisha. The farm maintains 4 hectares of forest to protect the natural environment. In addition, 650 native trees and plants have been planted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy idea is that the coffee featured here should serve as a sort of bridge between basic espresso and filter coffee. This \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003ewashed\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e-processed \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTypica\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e immediately stood out from the rest during the tasting. With its \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eclean\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e profile and \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003erefined\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e character, there was no question about it. Later, when brewed as an espresso, its aroma reminds me of a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003efreshly baked cookie\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e, with a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003ehint of spice\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e. On the palate, it’s very \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003esmooth and sweet\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e, yet not overly chocolatey—it has more of a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eyogurt-like\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e quality.
