The station works with around 1,200 smallholder farmers from the surrounding hills, collecting cherries through a network of 20 collection points. Some farmers even bring their coffee to the station on foot. The coffee is mainly \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eRed Bourbon\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e, one of the traditional varieties widely grown across Rwanda.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis lot was processed using the traditional \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003enatural\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e method. The process gives it a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003every round texture\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e that reminds me of \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003edark berry jam\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e.
